Lauren is simply the sweetest gal. I remember when she first called me to ask me to photograph her wedding. We played phone tag, and then she texted and said “I’m engaged, and you’ve got to photograph my wedding!” I was so thrilled to be included in her ultra special, family focused wedding day!!
Nathan has a way of making it count for Lauren on her birthday. On February 4, 2021, at Mirror Lake at Ohio State University, Nate got down on one knee and surprised miss Lauren with a beautiful proposal.
They have built an incredible foundation in their relationship, have married their similarities and differences to create balance, and no matter where they are or where they are from, they have found a home in one another.
Each VNP wedding is custom-tailored and can include timeline planning, complete event coverage, an engagement session, luxury gifts, and final deliverables unique to your wedding celebration.
I’m prepared to go to the ends of the earth to ensure every frame tells a story of love, laughter, and everything in between.
Why I love getting ready photos… we laugh, there’s tears, and stories are shared. Mom and Grandma have moments remembering the bride as a young girl. Mom helps with the final details on the wedding gown, the bride has an opportunity to do a first look with her bridesmaids, grandmother, and father before heading off to meet the groom.
It also rounds out the story behind your unique wedding day. I’ll create images for you based on what truly matters to YOU on your wedding day. When I take the time to understand what photos matter the most to you, it opens the door for freedom to explore and observe other moments happening around me resulting in much more interesting images.
Lauren requested that I "bring out the best of people, not too posed, and really great natural shots of people having a great time."
First looks get me in the feels every SINGLE time! But don’t worry it won’t affect my ability to capture the moments unfolding before me.
From my experience, the groom cries more often than not and I’m here for it!
Lauren & Nate wanted to have most of their photos completed before the ceremony, something I highly recommend as you are then free to move into your cocktail reception with your guests and don’t have to stop the celebration to go take photos. Unless its at golden hour, then you’re coming with me for a hot minute!

Best advice I can give you is to make sure you’ve packed some snacks & bevvies for your wedding party to enjoy during photos. From getting ready in the morning to finally sitting down to dinner everyone is usually famished from the champagne & excitement of the day. Make sure you take care of yourself and your people. Trust me, they will more than appreciate it!
